ROAD TO RUSTICO INSTALLATION FOR SWISS

When entering the stairs, visitors see a grayscale artistic silhouette of a mountain scene. The moment they start climbing it, the scene starts to morph in a very colourful and peaceful summer mountain setting.

Visitors are being surprised by a bird taking off and leaving a slightly moving pine tree behind, realising that they did not just step in an image but in a dynamic world.

The bird hoovers in front of them and then flies away, activating a curious fox taking a look from behind a tree, Several Edelweiss plants start to grow next to their feet as they walk uphill.

When passing the tree line, they are overlooking a large lake with the Matterhorn glowing in the background (Alpenglühen) A golden eagle circles around them while capricorns form a beautiful silhouette play on the rocks in the background. Dust particles shine in the low lights while tranquil music completes the Rustico feeling.

We created all music and sound design which was played through a custom 8 speaker system in this installation.
